My wife and I stayed at the Xenia Guest House for 2 nights and we were completely blown away by this place. We have stayed in Rome before and find that this was in the perfect location for sightseeing and great restaurants. The best way I can describe the accommodations is that you have to see it to believe. Finally, from the owner Federico to the manager Maria they were like family and ensured that our stay was perfect. Mille Grazie!

Fantastic modern, guesthouse in a stunning, three hundred year old building in the centre of beautiful Rome! Maria & Frederico were the perfect host making check-in and check-out easy, as well as providing lots of great recommendations for local restaurants and cafes, which was really helpful. The guesthouse is in a perfect location, only 10 minutes walk from Trastevere and 10 minutes walk in the other direction to the centre (Piazza Navona), and 20 mins walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum etc. The room was beautiful and very clean, with lots of lovely touches such as toiletries, coffee and a fridge. It was also quiet night, despite being so centrally located. It is on the fifth floor, but there is a lift. Thank you Maria & Frederico for a wonderful stay - we will be back!

Terrific location, comfortable room, and most of all, Maria, the gracious hostess who ties it all together. Bonus: a taxi stand right across the bridge. Great value for traveling during the shoulder season.

A great find. Situated near the river in the Jewish Ghetto area just across the bridge from Trastevere. a beautiful modern, spacious room in an old building. The entrance is spectacular. You enter into a courtyard with a large sculpture at the rear. The lift must be about a hundred years old (something like the one in Thoroughly Modern Milly) but it works well enough. Gloria couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Bottled water every day, a comfortable bed and for us, a good location. It was only 10 mins walk to Campo de Fiori and not that much more to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Also very close to the Campidoglio. Breakfast is in the cafe just downstairs consisting of a juice, pastry and coffee or tea. For us that was just fine as we are not big breakfast eaters. Very moderately priced with air conditioning. Will come again
